Dime Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Katherine Morano to corporate officer and residential lender at Dime Bank, a mutual bank headquartered in Norwich. Morano joined the bank in 2002, serving as the assistant branch manager of their Corporate office for the last 13 years. In her new role, Morano will be responsible for facilitating the expansion of the Bank’s residential lending business both inside and outside of our traditional branch territories.

Morano has earned a strong reputation in the community as a knowledgeable residential lender with expertise in loan underwriting, modifications, and originations. She is joining a team of experienced residential lenders under the direction of Dime Bank’s chief lending officer and senior vice president, Brian McNamara.

“Kathy is an exceptional addition to our lending team; not only does she possess many years of experience in the lending space, she also brings a firm knowledge of the various housing markets in southeastern Connecticut,” said McNamara. “She’s looking forward to helping more families in our communities become homeowners.”

Morano resides in Griswold with her husband and three children, and attended Eastern Connecticut State University.
