Dime Bank recently hosted its 154th annual meeting at Lake of Isles in North Stonington, Conn., featuring President & Chief Executive Officer Nick Caplanson’s annual State of the Bank presentation to Dime Bank’s directors, corporators and officers.

The presentation was highlighted by news of another year of strong financial performance, community support and growth in 2022, highlighted by the opening of Dime’s 14^th branch in Vernon, CT, in December.

As part of the business portion of the meeting, the bank announced that James Gomes, originally of Norwich, CT, has been named a corporator of the bank. James is the Northeast Vice President of Automotive Partnerships for iHeart Media, in Hartford, CT and resides in Cheshire, CT.

Dime also announced that they have recently been named the region’s “Best Place to Work” from the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut. The bank received this award at the chamber’s annual meeting held on March 30.
