Card Guard Features:

• Push to Digital Wallet: Quickly and securely add your debit card to digital wallet like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay for fast, contactless payments. 
• Enhanced Transaction Details: As you make purchases you can view detailed transaction information, including merchant contact information like phone number, website, and physical address for in-store purchases. 
• Spending Overview: Track your spending habits with graphs that break down purchases by category.
• PIN Management: Securly update your card PIN after completing a quick identity verification.
• Seamless Access: Access Card Guard directly through DimeOnLine or our mobile banking app. There is no need to download any new apps or create new credentials. 

Get Started with Card Guard:

• Log in to DimeOnLine or our mobile app
• Navigate to Card Guard from the main menu (for mobile, click the three-line menu icon first).
• Verify your identity and confirm your contact information if prompted. 
• Start managing your card with confidence

Your Dime Bank debit cards will appear automatically. To add another card, click "Switch or Add Card" then click +Add Card and follow the prompts. 

Please note that all users are required to be on the most current version of their device's operating system to have the ability to see and use the Card Guard feature in DimeOnLine. 
 

Ways to Guard Your Card: 

• Instant Card Control: Temporarily lock your card if it’s misplaced and unlock it just as easily once it’s found. While locked, most transactions will be declined except for recurring payments.
• Location-Based & Travel Controls: Decide where your card can be used. Use your current location to approve nearby transactions. Define specific geographic areas for card usage. Block or allow international transactions and create a travel plan before your next trip.
• Spending Limits: Set a maximum amount per transaction. Any purchase above your selected limit will be declined.
• Merchant Category Controls: Choose where your card can be used by enabling or restricting categories such as Grocery & Retail, Dining & Entertainment, etc. 
• Transaction Controls: Allow or disable transaction types such as in-store purchases, online transactions, and more.

Stay Informed with Alerts: 

Card Guard helps you stay on top of your account activity with alerts for: 

• All transactions
• Purchases over a set amount
• Activity in certain locations
• Specific merchant categories
• Declined transactions: You will receive a one-time approval allowing you to attend the transaction again within 10 minutes.
