More than ever, we are a community bank

It’s important for you to know that nothing is more important to Dime Bank than the safety and well-being of our customers and employees. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to widen, we have implemented some temporary changes at our locations to keep our customers and employees safe as we continue to meet our community’s banking needs.

Beginning on May 20, these changes include:

As you may have heard, the State of Connecticut has identified May 20th as the date to begin resuming business under new guidelines. This date is intended for the reopening of non-essential businesses which have been closed; as an essential business, Dime has remained opened and fully operational throughout this pandemic. We’ve continued to open accounts, process transactions and approve loans, both for individual and business customers alike and will continue to do so.

At this time, we are not planning any noticeable changes for May 20 – our branch lobbies will remain closed and we will continue to do business in the same efficient ways we have for the past few months. Our branches with a drive up option are and have been accessible for all customer transactions and remain available for lobby access by appointment.

We will continue to monitor the State’s guidance moving forward and look forward to opening our branches for full access when it is in the best and safest interests of our customers and employees.
The bank will use all reasonable efforts to accommodate all customers that have a disability during this time. Please call your local branch with any questions or requests that you may have to conduct your banking needs.

Please remember that our mobile and online banking features are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with DimeOnLine and our mobile app! You can also use the 24-hour account info-line to access your account information.

We appreciate your confidence in Dime Bank. If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

March 18, 2020 Update:

  • All Dime Bank branches, with the exception of Stonington and Broadway (Norwich), will be operating as drive-up only until further notice. All branch lobby areas will be closed. Please note that we will still offer ATM and night drop services at these locations.

We’ve used them several times now for the financing. James M. O’Leary, DMD: For projects we’ve done in the Waterford office. Whether it’s a phone call or an email, they get back to us right away.
