to us. The Dime Bank “the Bank” values the trust that our
customers have placed in us and as part of our efforts to protect the
confidentiality of customer information, we have developed this notice,
to explain how we handle your information and what we do to protect it.
This notice describes the privacy practices of Dime Bank and its affiliates,
which includes Dime Loan Servicing Corporation and Dime Investment Services.
We have created these entities to provide comprehensive financial services
to meet your needs. These affiliated companies are staffed by bank employees
who share the same dedication in protecting your information. The affiliates
are located in our Corporate Office at 290 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, Connecticut

This Privacy Notice applies to you if you currently have a customer relationship
with the Bank or one of the bank affiliates. If you decide to close your
account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will continue to adhere
to the privacy policies and practices as described in this Privacy Notice.
Protecting your information is important to us.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply
with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Access to your non- public personal information is restricted to only
those employees who need to have it so that they can provide products
and services to you.
We do not sell any of the personal information we collect about our customers.
We collect your information so that we can provide you with products
and services.
Information that we collect about you may come from any of the following
sources:
- Information provided by you on applications and other forms, which
may include information given on a loan application, signature card
or through the online banking applications;
- Information about your transactions with the Bank and its affiliates
or others, including deposit account balances and loan repayment experiences;
- Information obtained from a consumer -reporting agency, such as information
pertaining to your creditworthiness or credit history.
From time to time we may need to share information.
We may share some or all of the nonpublic personal information we collect
with nonaffiliated companies. These companies may be those that perform
marketing services on our behalf, or financial institutions with which
we have joint marketing agreements. The nonaffiliated financial institutions
may include service providers such as a broker-dealer, an insurance company,
such as Savings Bank Life Insurance (SBLI), or a credit card provider,
such as MBNA of America. The non-financial companies may include, for
example, companies that assist us with mailings. We may share information
with these companies so that we can offer products and services that we
feel might be of value or interest to you.
