Dime Bank Announces New Director
News Release - July 20, 2010
Norwich, CT - Jim Cronin, president of Dime Bank, is pleased to
announce that Dr. Mark Tramontozzi, a general and vascular surgeon at
Backus Hospital, has been selected to serve as a director of Dime.
Dr. Tramontozzi is a Norwich native, a graduate of NFA and College of
the Holy Cross. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of The
American College of Certified Wound Specialists, the Connecticut State
Medical Society, and the New London County Medical Society.
He has served in numerous community organizations and currently serves
as a corporator of NFA, Secretary/Treasurer Backus Hospital Medical Staff,
Chairman, Physician Advisory Committee United Community & Family Services,
Cancer Liaison Physician for Backus Hospital to the American College of
Surgeons, Treasurer of the Italian Heritage and Cultural Committee of
Norwich, and finance committee of the Connecticut Medical Insurance Company.
Dr. Tramontozzi lives in Norwich with his wife Mary and their children
Anthony, Michael, and Peter.
