News Release - June 23, 2008
Dime Bank recently honored high school graduates from ten area schools. At the bank’s annual reception the students were recognized for their accomplishments and awarded $2,000 scholarships.
In 1995, Dime Bank instituted its scholarship program to provide financial assistance to students in its market area. The award was created to help deserving students attain a college education and recognize them for their achievements. The annual awards are based on academic excellence, community involvement, extracurricular activities and financial need. It is one of many ways Dime Bank invests in the communities it serves.
