Dime Bank Blue Crew on the Road Again - Helping
Beautify City of Norwich
News Release - June 9, 2009
Norwich, CT - The Dime Bank Blue Crew was on the road again
- this time to help beautify the City of Norwich! During the weekend of
June 6, Blue Crew members lent a helping hand to Rockwell Street
resident, Leland Loose and his neighbors, as they planted flowers along
the City street. The residents of Rockwell Street come together each spring
to plant new, colorful flowers in their neighborhood.
Loose shared, "The Dime Bank Blue Crew did a great job in
helping with our plantings on Rockwell Street. Dime Bank is a super example
of cooperation and community spirit. The flowers are looking fine and
enjoy their watering each morning! On behalf of our neighborhood, thank
you for coordinating volunteers from The Dime."
Seven Dime Bank Blue Crew members each donated three and a half
hours of time to the Rockwell Street planting project.
