Dime Bank Blue Crew was in Action Again - Collected 100+ Books
for Friends of Otis Library's Annual Book Sale

News Release - April 14, 2009

Norwich, CT - The Dime Bank Blue Crew was on the road again - this time taking collections for the Friends of the Otis Library's Annual Book Sale. As of today, the Blue Crew collected more than 100 gently used hard and soft cover books from Dime Bank employees, as well as bank customers. The Annual Book Sale is scheduled for Friday, April 17 through Sunday, April 19 at Otis Library, 261 Main Street in Norwich.

Open to the public, Otis Library strives to create an environment where all residents feel comfortable visiting their local library. In making strides to cultivate public interest in the library and diminish perceived barriers, the Young Adult Department has developed a Teen Advisory Committee (TAC). An outgrowth of efforts to cultivate the next generation of library users and supporters, the TAC provides assistance on issues such as, programming, material selection and procedures.
