AHEPA 110-II Apartments
To build a roof for the patio that the residents sit on.
Alliance for Living
To fund Transportation Services for Norwich Area Residents to get to Alliance for Living for cases management services and to and from medical appts. Also cover meals and basic needs for clients.
Artreach, Inc.
To provide funding for the Gas Money Fund which Artreach provides transportation for individuals to social, cultural recreational events.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Connecticut
To provide mentoring services for children of prisoners in New London County.
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Norwich, Inc.
Assist individuals and families in meeting their immediate basic needs and assist in stabilizing the individuals and families living and financial situation with the goal of self-sufficiency.
Center for Juvenile Justice, Inc.
Purchase of a document scanner to increase the level of service and provide more pertinent information on the child clients in an efficient manner.
Child Adoption Resource Association, Inc. (CARA)
The objectives of the program are: increase public awareness of needs of these children, recruit interested families, to qualify and train families, complete home evaluations to DCF, assist DCF in the matching process, and obtain other service agreements with DCF.
City of Norwich / Community Care Team
A winter overflow shelter that serves the chronically homeless: November 1 - March 31. Although shelter is important their main goal is to lead them back into permanent housing. Offer intense case management, access to social security programs, transitional housing at YMCA and 1st month's rent and security deposit funds, as well as primary healthcare, substance abuse/mental health treatment and referral.
Eastern Connecticut Ballet
To fund the Free Ticket Initiative, this project is to provide free tickets to area organizations that service families in need for The Nutcracker at the Garde Arts Center. Would fund 130.
Eastern Connecticut Housing Opportunities, Inc.
Rehabilitation of a two-family property included in the 10-house Housenew London's Hempstead Neighborhood Revitalization Project.
F.R.E.S.H. New London
To work with the children of New London to increase awareness of issues in health, diet and nutrition and to provide fresh local produce to residents with low income, elderly, or suffering from a chronic disease.
Furniture Bank of Southeastern Connecticut
To purchase 50-60 beds and bed frames for families in need.
Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center
Providing nutritious food supplies for access to all.
High Hopes
To provide scholarship assistance for participants in their year-round programs. Would serve 5 individuals.
ISAAC (Interdistrict School for Arts and Communication)
To purchase math materials--new textbooks, workbooks, instructional supplies, geometers sketchpad (software tool that offers 2 & 3 dimensional illustration to math concepts), and InspireData (builds critical data literacy skills and engages students).
Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut
Repair and reconstruct the front walk, steps, porch and railings of office building which are in a state of deterioration and disrepair.
Ledyard Public Libraries-Bill Library
Frame restoration project to clean and repair fourteen antique frames that hold portrait photos of the original Bill Library Trustees.
Literacy Volunteers of Eastern CT
To provide StudentTutor training and follow up training in English for speakers of other languages and basic literacy to Student volunteers at NFA. Also, to provide Rosetta Stone Language Learning Success Software to be installed on two computers.
Lyman Allyn Art Museum
After School Arts and Literacy Program for fifth graders in the NL Public Schools. 2 hours per day at the end of the regular school day. Children will be bused to their customary bus stops after completing the program at the Museum which ends at 5 pm.
Madonna Place, Inc.
The "Family First" Program provides an intensive case-management home visiting program for first-time at-risk parents. The staff of Families First will plan 12 sessions series of wellness sessions for mothers and other family members based on client need.
Martin House
To replace resident's mattresses that are becoming lumpy, torn and uncomfortable. The ideal mattresses will be breathable, fire resistant, antimicrobial/antifungal, waterproof, stain resistant and reduce body heat build-up.
Mystic Area Shelter and Hospitality, Inc.
To provide direct services for two local homeless family and allow to continue to make 1,000 bed nights available to homeless children and their families.
New London Adult & Continuing Education
To help fund a Mental Health Worker to address the needs of adult students and provide services and resources to remove barriers to educational success.
New London Homeless Hospitality Center, Inc.
To extend operation of overnight shelter from winter to year-round.
New London Youth Organization Kids Café (YO)
To purchase nutritious food and kitchen supplies that include paper products.
Niantic Community Church
To help complete Phase II of the NCC Handicapped/Disabled Accessibility Program. Convert bathrooms to code compliance for accessibility, and add an automatic door to the vertical lift enclosure. To allow for access for all community members.
Norwich Human Services-SAFETY NET TEAM
This is to support multiple programs which include: Back Pack It To School Program, Back To School Shoes & Clothing Program, Pharmacy Fund, Utility Fund, Hygienic Closet, Job Related Incidentals, Children's fund.
Ocean Community YMCA
To replace an 80-foot boating dock for water activities for the campers.
Operation Fuel, Inc.
To provide assistance emergency energy assistance grants to low income individuals and families. Would fund 447 households in the New London county area.
Pregnancy Resource Center of SECT dba Care Net
To purchase 30 cribs with mattress that will be given to low income mothers and infants.
Sound Community Services, Inc.
To create a recreation room for the residents of the Supervised Apartment
St. Vincent de Paul Place, Diocese of Norwich
To renovate laundry/shower area.
Thames Area Citizen Advocacy Program, Inc.
To assist senior citizens who reside in assisted living and nursing homes who meet the program criteria.

The Arc of New London County
To provide four programs: Individual Placement-which is to provide support for 13 individuals employed in community jobs, Group Support Employment-which groups of 3 or 4 individuals with a job coach work together at various work sites, Progressive Program-this program was created to support individuals who cannot work 5 days a week to provide part time jobs with life skills training, and Transition to Work-to provide employment building skills, job exploration, job development, job placement and life training skills to students in public schools ages 15 to 21.
Uncas Health District
To support the relocation and the necessary renovations made to the facility.
United Community & Family Services
To develop Informational and Training Seminars geared toward caregivers trying to balance time for work and for themselves. The topics include: services and options for care, coping with guilt, role reversal, caring for an older adult, stress management, reducing absenteeism in the workplace related to care giving.
YMCA of Southeastern CT
New Program Families First is designed to help fight obesity. The goal is to have families become more aware of their health as it relates to nutrition, becoming a supportive family unite and becoming more physically active. The grant will be used for scholarship for family memberships and associated staff costs for additional programming.
Women's Center of Southeastern Connecticut
Prevention of violence and support of women's needs.
